Our site is hosted on the Australian Government's GovCMS platform, administered by the Department of Finance. GovCMS administrators log and monitor system usage as part of managing the platform. 

The DVSC may use cookies to maintain contact with a user during a website session and to remember settings, preferences, or activity across multiple sessions. A cookie is a small file that is placed on your computer by your web browser at the request of the DVSC website.

Cookies allow the DVSC website to offer consistent experiences across multiple sessions, to recognise a returning browser, and to track usage patterns as users navigate the site. This enables the Commission to collect aggregated information about how the website is used, such as the pages visited, the average time spent on each page, and the number of visitors. No attempt is made to personally identify users through their browsing activity.
