Consultations
Find out how the DVSC seeks feedback and input from the community.
In the course of their work, the Commissioner will be interested in hearing from people with lived experience – whether currently serving in the ADF, former ADF members, or a family member or someone who is supporting them. These insights might relate directly or indirectly to suicide and suicidality in the Defence and veteran ecosystem, but could also be about other matters relating to the systemic prevention of suicide for current and ex-serving ADF members.
Submissions
To support the inquiries of the Commissioner, the DVSC will call for submissions from organisations and individuals across the Defence and veteran ecosystem.
Call for Submissions – Inquiry into Access to Information
We are conducting an inquiry to assess the implementation of the Australian Government’s response to recommendations 9 through 13 of the Interim Report of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide.
To inform this inquiry, the Acting Commissioner is seeking input from the public.
